SalesQL Campaigns brings prospecting and email outreach into the same workflow. Once your contacts are saved to a folder, you can add them to a personalized sequence, control when each message is sent, and follow engagement from inside SalesQL.
This guide covers the complete process—from connecting your inbox to tracking campaign results.
Before you begin
You’ll need:
A Gmail, Google Workspace, or Outlook account.
A SalesQL folder containing the contacts you want to reach.
Start a new campaign
Click Create campaign from the SalesQL home page.
You can also open Campaigns from the left-hand menu and select New campaign.
Choose your sending account
Open the sender dropdown and select Add email account.
Choose the provider linked to the inbox you want to use:
Gmail for Gmail and Google Workspace accounts.
Outlook for Outlook, Microsoft 365, Hotmail, Live, and MSN accounts.
Sign in and approve the requested permissions. Once the connection is complete, your inbox will be available in the sender field.
💡 Good to know: You can connect your inbox without leaving the campaign editor. There’s no need to set up a mailbox in advance.
Build your sequence
Start with the subject line and content of your first email.
To make the message feel personal, use Variables to include details such as the recipient’s first name or company.
When you’re ready to add a follow-up, click the + button below the current email. You can then choose the delay and write the next message in the sequence.
Add as many steps as your campaign needs.
💡 Tip: Before launching, check that your contacts have data for every variable used in your emails. A missing value may leave an empty space in the message.
Choose who enters the campaign
Open Add recipients and select the SalesQL folder containing your audience.
From here, you can narrow the selection by:
Contact labels.
Verified or unverified email status.
Work or direct email type.
If you want to avoid contacting people who have already joined another campaign, enable Exclude contacts already added to previous campaigns.
Check the recipient count and click Add recipients.
💡 Note: In the version shown here, contacts are added at the folder level. Individual contacts cannot be selected from this screen.
Set your sending schedule
Go to Sending settings to decide when SalesQL can send your emails.
Choose the:
Campaign start date.
Sender time zone.
Active sending days.
Daily sending window.
Emails will only be sent during the days and hours you select.
Review and launch
Take a final look at the sender, email sequence, recipients, and schedule.
When everything is ready, click Launch campaign and confirm.
Your emails will enter the sending queue and follow the schedule you configured. If the campaign is outside its sending window, the messages will wait until the next available time.
⚠️ Important: Campaigns cannot be edited after launch in the version shown here. Review every step before confirming.
See what’s working
Once the campaign is running, open the Overview tab to see how it’s performing.
You’ll find:
Total recipients.
Open rate.
Click rate.
Results for each step in the sequence.
For a closer look at each contact, open Recipient activity. This view shows which email they’ve reached and whether it is scheduled, sent, or opened.
Use these results to spot the messages getting the most engagement and improve your next campaign.
