Adding my first contact in SalesQL
SalesQL enriches Linkedin profiles with contact information (emails and phone numbers), for doing that, we identify where the person is currently working and we use multiple public sources of information and data engineering to search and validate emails and phones on the fly.
In this article, I will show you how to add your first contact.
Install the SalesQL extension for Google Chrome
In order to work over Linkedin, you have to install our Google Chrome extension.
The easiest way for doing that is:
- Heading to our website and clicking on Install:
- And then in the Google Chrome store just click on the button "Add to Chrome":
Create your account in SalesQL
In order to use the Chrome Extension, you need an account in SalesQL, this account will hold all the information you are able to extract and enrich from Linkedin (contacts, companies, contact information, etc).
The easiest way to start is to SignIn using your Linkedin account:
The system will send you a verification code to your Linkedin associated email, this is normally your webmail (gmail, yahoo, etc):
If you don't want to use Linkedin, you can also sign up manually with your business email.
Add your first contact in SalesQL
After having your SalesQL account validated, you can visit any Linkedin profile, and if you click on the extension icon, you can add this person to your SalesQL contacts and search for emails and phone numbers, by clicking on the plus (+) button.
After adding the contact, you should be able to see any email or phone numbers we were able to find, no matters if it's a 1st, 2nd or 3rd connection:
